The Junior PM & Project Analyst role is responsible for owning and supporting the successful delivery of projects across the business. Working closely with the Senior Project Managers, stakeholders, and delivery teams, the Project Analyst will help coordinate project activities, maintain project documentation, track progress, manage schedules, and produce reports. This role provides an excellent foundation for individuals looking to develop a career in project management, offering exposure to project governance, planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery. As the role will have involvement in projects spanning the entire business, the role holder will gain significant exposure to financial services, banking, commercial and corporate affairs, liaising with departments, and executives across the business. Essential • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, or equivalent years of experience in role • Experience of engaging and working with internal teams and external third parties • Excellent stakeholder management skills • High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. • A “get it done” attitude Desirable • Experience of defining requirements, process mapping, documenting data flows and gap analysis • Experience of managing projects, ideally in a regulated financial services environment • Relevant project management qualification or training. • Experience in a regulated environment Skills and Behaviours • Proactive approach and willingness to learn. • Has a strong ‘Can do’ attitude • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. • Exposure to project management principles or methodologies would be advantageous. • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com would be advantageous. Project support Run &/or assist in the planning, coordinating, and delivery of projects through requirement gathering, build, UAT and implementation activities. Support the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and milestones. Monitor project progress and highlight risks, issues, and dependencies. Track project actions and follow up with stakeholders as required. Support project governance activities and ensure adherence to project methodologies. Reporting and analysis Produce regular project status reports, dashboards, and updates. Gather, analyse, and present project performance data. Monitor project KPIs and delivery metrics. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Support resource and budget tracking activities. Stakeholder coordination Schedule and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering groups. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action logs. Build effective relationships with project stakeholders and team members. Communicate project updates clearly and professionally. Risk Management Maintain project risk, issue, assumption, and dependency logs. Support the identification and assessment of project risks. Track mitigation actions and escalate concerns where necessary. Documentation & Governance Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. Support the management of project change requests. Assist with project audits, reviews, and lessons learned exercises.
