Aldebaran Threat Consultants (ATC) is seeking a Junior Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will collect and compile online data regarding crime, terrorism, and political developments in Iraq and other countries of interest. You will monitor news, social media, and other information sources, accurately classify incidents using the Aldebaran methodology, and produce timely, well-structured reports. The role also requires developing an understanding of the political and social context surrounding the events you monitor.
The ideal candidate will have:
▪ Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
▪ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
▪ The ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
▪ A genuine interest in international relations, international politics, and global security developments
▪ Current residence in the Philippines
Preferred qualifications:
▪ Educational background in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field
