Junior Shopify Developer

Mellow Sleep is one of the fastest growing consumer brands in the U.S., scaling from $0 to nine figures in revenue in under two years. We are the #1 Home brand on TikTok Shop and are rapidly expanding across major retail and commerce channels, including Target, QVC, Walmart, Amazon, and wholesale. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Shopify Developer to help build and maintain our Shopify Plus storefront and the ecommerce tools that power a high volume DTC and omnichannel operation. You will work directly with our Senior Shopify Developer and grow into owning larger parts of the stack. The Role You will build, ship, and maintain storefront features, integrations, and fixes across our Shopify Plus ecosystem, supporting a $300M+ ecommerce brand operating across DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, retail, and wholesale channels. You will work closely with our growth, marketing, and operations teams, turning briefs into fast, reliable storefront experiences, and learning the architecture behind a large scale commerce operation. What You Will Do Storefront Development Theme development and customization using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Build landing pages, PDP and cart features, and promotional experiences for campaigns and launches Support checkout and conversion focused improvements under guidance from the senior developer Assist with site speed and Core Web Vitals improvements Participate in QA, staging reviews, testing, and structured deployments Integrations and Operations Support Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot apps such as AfterSell, Loox, Triple Whale, and Klaviyo Support catalog sync, order routing, and inventory checks across TikTok Shop and other channels Help maintain data flows between Shopify, fulfillment, analytics, and reporting systems Investigate and resolve storefront bugs and integration issues, escalating complex cases Support high volume promotional events and sale day readiness 1 to 3 years of Shopify development experience, Shopify Plus exposure preferred Solid proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Working knowledge of Shopify APIs and webhooks Exposure to React or Node.js and willingness to deepen both Understanding of ecommerce fundamentals such as conversion, page speed, and merchandising Strong debugging instincts and attention to detail Clear written communication and ability to work with non technical teams Comfortable operating in a fast moving environment where speed and execution matter Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Employment: Full time Location: Remote (India) Working hours: Meaningful overlap with U.S. time zones required
