Job Description Junior Site Reliability Engineer (1+ years) Bucharest, Romania This is Worldline. The opportunity Coordination and handling of service requests received through multiple channels, various activities related to production monitoring and incident, problem, change and escalation management. Alignment with suppliers, clients and processing partners by using established procedures and processes which lead to optimization of the service for our clients. Day-to-day responsibilities • Manage and resolve incidents, problems, changes, ITIL processes and monitor applications • Analyze technical incidents and involve 3rd level support if needed • Maintain intricate knowledge of the entire SEPA processing and Instant Payment processing chain, i.e., having an end to end view; • Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of incidents; Implement monitoring for production environments • Estimate resolution times and establish counter measures in case of high level incidents; • Initiate improvement plans and prevention of incidents and problems; • Contribute to the introduction of new products; Coordinate and handle service requests • Cover 24/7-standby together with the team (once each second month / in a later stage) • Propose and perform incident/problem resolution via set of static data and configuration settings • Be gatekeeper of production changes - Review and perform impact assessment of changes from tribes and other divisions. Deep dive into the changes, review test reports [functional and non functional] and challenge status quo Who are we looking for We look for big thinkers. In practice this means: • Hands on expertise in SQL, UNIX, LINUX, Oracle & PostgreSQL databases, Grafana, scripting; • Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; • High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail; • ITIL certification, proficient in XML/XSD, SEPA; Proven experience in AI adoption and automation; • Expertise in health check and monitoring capability and related tools such as Dynatrace • Experience working with Agile methodology and JIRA, Confluence, Github, • Experience in integration concepts –REST and SOAP principles, message based mechanism, encryption models, authentication and authorization models • Reasonable knowledge Java 8 or above, any cloud flavor, CI/CD pipeline, microservices, one click deployment, software security aspects • Fluent English skills Perks & Benefits At Worldline you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
