Junior Website Builder (No developers)

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in building websites for our diverse range of customers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creativity, understands the value of excellent content, and is passionate about helping businesses establish a strong online presence. Only candidates based in Central/South America will be considered for this position. Uninterrupted Commitment: You must be able to work 8 hours per day, up to 5 days per week, 7:30am-4:30pm EST Weekend Rotation: Your 5-day week will include one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday) as required by business volume. Responsibilities & Tasks to be performed: As a Content Specialist at UENI, you will be building websites using our website builder platform. You will need to consider: Website Structure and Design: Quickly understand the business’s goals, target audience, and branding preferences. Use our platform to design the website's structure, layout, and navigation, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Content Creation: Write compelling and SEO-friendly website content that effectively communicates the client's brand, products, and services. Tailor the content to the specific needs of the business and its target audience. Imagery Selection: Curate and select suitable imagery, including photos and icons, that align with the client's brand identity and enhance the visual appeal of the website. Color Palette and Design Elements: Choose an appropriate color palette and design elements that reflect the client's brand image, creating a cohesive and visually appealing website. Business Representation: Ensure that the website accurately represents the client's business, its unique selling points, and its mission. Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure that the website is error-free, functions correctly, and displays properly on various devices and browsers. Skills & Competencies: To excel in the role of Content Specialist, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong creative and design sensibilities. Proficiency in using website builders and content management systems. Knowledge of SEO best practices for content creation. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of branding and marketing principles is a plus. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus (Marketing, Advertising, Web Design, UI/UX). Experience: Proven experience in content creation, website design, or a related role. Experience working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, or startups is an advantage. Tech-Savvy: Basic technical proficiency and a willingness to learn about website building and digital marketing. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional language skills may be a plus.
