Kids 4’s & 5’s Discipleship Coordinator Part-Time | 20 Hours Per Week Schedule: Sundays required, with a combination of remote and on-site weekday work Reports to: Kids Discipleship Director About Doxa Church Doxa Church exists to glorify God by making disciples through Gospel-centered worship, community, and mission. Doxa Church is seeking a creative, organized, and relational Kids 4’s & 5’s Discipleship Coordinator to help lead and shape the Sunday experience for our youngest learners. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about child development, enjoys creating Gospel-centered environments, and thrives in both planning and people leadership. From preparing lessons and activities to supporting volunteers and partnering with ministry staff, this role plays an important part in helping children and families feel known, safe, and spiritually nurtured within Doxa Kids. What You’ll Do Kids Discipleship Programming Plan and coordinate engaging Sunday discipleship experiences for 4- and 5-year-old classrooms Review, select, and prepare Bible-saturated and Gospel-centered curriculum Create age-appropriate lessons, activities, and classroom elements that support spiritual formation Ensure programming is organized, prepared, and ready each week Volunteer Leadership & Support Help recruit, train, and support volunteers serving within the 4’s & 5’s ministry environment Provide encouragement, communication, and hands-on support to volunteer teams Assist with volunteer development and annual training initiatives Foster a welcoming and team-oriented ministry culture Ministry Operations Support safety procedures, classroom organization, and ministry systems Help oversee Planning Center processes and scheduling needs Coordinate classroom supplies and curriculum materials Assist with Kids Camp planning and implementation alongside Doxa Kids staff Partner with the Pre-K Discipleship Coordinator as needed Additional Ministry Support Assist during special ministry events including Easter, Christmas, and Kids Camp Support additional projects and ministry needs as assigned Who You Are A committed follower of Jesus with a growing personal faith A member of Doxa Church who aligns with the church’s mission and doctrine Passionate about children’s discipleship and early childhood development Creative, organized, and dependable Warm, engaging, and relational with both children and volunteers Comfortable leading, equipping, and encouraging volunteer teams Flexible and willing to jump in where needed Familiar with or willing to learn Planning Center and ministry systems What Makes Someone Successful in This Role You naturally connect with children and families You bring energy, creativity, and warmth into ministry environments You enjoy planning ahead and creating organized systems You can balance details with relational leadership You work well both independently and collaboratively You care deeply about helping children understand Biblical truth in meaningful ways Why Join Doxa Kids?
