Korean Linguistic Specialist | Part-Time | Remote | Korea

We are looking for qualified Korean Linguistic Specialists currently residing in South Korea for an upcoming remote linguistic quality validation project.

Position Details

• Role: Korean Linguistic Specialist
• Work Type: Part-Time
• Work Mode: Remote
• Location: South Korea only
• Total Workload: Approximately 35–40 hours
• Working Hours: Flexible — work can be completed according to your availability within the project timeline
• Payout: USD 18/hour

Mandatory Qualification

• Applicants must have completed a Master’s Degree in Korean Linguistic Studies.
• Strong proficiency in Korean language comprehension and linguistic analysis is required.
• Previous experience in Korean linguistic, audio validation, transcription, proofreading, localization, or language quality projects will be preferred.
• Applicants must have their own laptop/computer and a stable internet connection.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines is essential.
• Applicants must currently be residing in South Korea.

Task Overview

The project involves audio-to-text linguistic validation and quality checking.

You will be required to:

• Listen carefully to each audio file.
• Verify whether the spoken content exactly matches the provided Korean text.
• Identify and flag mispronunciations.
• Detect incorrect, missing, or nonsensical words.
• Identify required text corrections.
• Detect background noise and non-speech sounds.
• Flag other audio quality or linguistic issues that may affect the accuracy of the data.
• Proofread and validate additional synthetic-generated Korean sentences where required.

Project Volume

• Approximately 5,000 newly recorded audio files
• Additional 4,000 synthetic-generated sentences, which may require proofreading and linguistic validation
• Total expected effort: 35–40 hours

Payment

USD 18 per completed working hour
