Our client, a global consulting firm, is expanding its European cloud delivery squad to provide 24x7 operational support for high-availability SAP BTP integration services. We are looking for proactive L2 Operations Engineers (E2 & E3 levels) to ensure system stability, lead event analysis, and handle major incidents across complex cloud environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• 24x7 Operational Support: Provide round-the-clock L2 operational support, event analysis, alert triage, and incident resolution for SAP BTP Integration services.
• Major Incident Management: Support major incidents through rapid impact assessment, escalation to product/L3 teams, restoration activities, and post-incident reviews.
• Platform Maintenance & Deployments: Execute operational procedures, health checks, platform validations, and assist with software deployments, patching, and upgrades.
• Documentation & Knowledge Base: Create and maintain robust runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure continuous operational improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Consultant Posture: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues under pressure and communicate effectively across multicultural teams.
• Operational Discipline: Hands-on experience with 24x7 production monitoring, ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management), and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
• Infrastructure Baseline: Solid foundation in IT infrastructure management (Linux, servers, virtualization, storage) and public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

Must-Haves:

• 3–6 years of commercial experience in 24x7 L2 operational support and incident management.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration technologies (Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, or Data Services).
• Practical knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, firewalls, load balancing) and user access tools (VPN, RSA SecureID).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Location & Working Setup:

• 100% Remote working model (Candidates must be resident and operating within the EU).
• US Hours overlap needed: Typically 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 PM CET.
