Role Description The Label Relationship Manager (Nigeria) role is a full-time remote position focused on managing and growing relationships with record labels, artists, and content owners in the Nigerian market. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for label partners, understanding their business needs, and providing guidance on distribution, rights management, and content monetization strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include onboarding new labels, coordinating release schedules, ensuring accurate metadata and catalog management, and monitoring performance across digital streaming platforms. The Label Relationship Manager will track analytics, prepare performance reports, and communicate insights to help partners optimize revenue and audience growth. The role also includes resolving operational issues, collaborating with internal teams on digital campaigns, and supporting labels with best practices in rights protection and digital strategy.
Qualifications

• Experience in label relations, artist management, or music industry account management, with strong skills in stakeholder communication and relationship building.
• Knowledge of digital music distribution, streaming platforms, and rights management processes, including catalog management and royalty reporting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in en_US, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical partners.
• High level of organization and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple projects, releases, and timelines remotely.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheet and presentation software, and online collaboration platforms.
• Understanding of the Nigerian music landscape, including key genres, labels, artists, and market dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Music Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams.
