Land Manager – Renewable Energy

Location: Remote, Germany

Salary: €60,000 + Bonus/hectar + car allowance

An established renewable energy developer is expanding and is looking to appoint a new Land Manager to support the growth of its onshore PV, wind and BESS pipeline.

Operating across 15 countries with around 200 employees, the company has a strong international platform, including a growing team of 10–15 professionals in Germany. With over 2 GW of projects under management, an established solar PV portfolio, and significant investment backing, the business is well-positioned for continued expansion in the German renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess viable renewable energy sites through land analysis and feasibility studies using QGIS.
• Secure land agreements and build strong relationships with landowners, municipalities and other key stakeholders.
• Progress greenfield projects through to development-ready status, coordinating technical, environmental and commercial workstreams.
• Collaborate closely with the Madrid-based team to deliver renewable energy projects across multiple technologies, with a focus on wind and BESS.

About You

• Experience in land acquisition or project development within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of land identification, site assessment and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience using QGIS or similar GIS software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a remote environment.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and the energy transition.
