Large Combat Sr. Finance Manager

Job Description Summary Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Large Combat Engine and Services. Deliver on financial and operational commitments to shareholders. Develop working knowledge of competition and market industry to differentiate GE Aviation Military Large Combat Engines and Services. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for managing the business cycle- budget, forecasts at each level of the organization, and Long Range Forecast/Strategy. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed. Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise for Large Combat Engine & Services. Serves as best practice/go-to Finance Leader. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility. Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team.
