Job Description This is a remote position. Our client, an international logistics organization , is recruiting for Last-mile Network Development to join their business in Germany. Position Title Last-mile Network Development Position Type Freelancing / Part-time Start Date ASAP Location Germany (remote) Contact: Bianca Papa | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 673 Main Responsibilities: Build the initial delivery network: identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with local DSPs. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis on Germany's last-mile delivery landscape. Develop and propose a practical last-mile expansion strategy tailored to the German market. Recommend and support the setup of key operational sites (hubs, warehouse, line haul, etc.). Support recruitment of local operational personnel and supervisors. Provide ongoing consultation during the initial operational ramp-up phase. Requirements: A strong, existing network of parcel delivery fleets and companies is essential. Previous experience with courier companies in depot management or delivery partner management. Already has a shortlist of potential partners and an active network. Skilled in expanding and negotiating contracts with delivery service partners. Trusted by partners and able to build long-term cooperation. Capable of providing strategic suggestions to our business plan and onboarding the right partners accordingly.
