The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Launchpad Engineering Manager to support and lead key project onboarding efforts, environment readiness, and integration activities across the Launchpad and NED workstreams. This role is responsible for coordinating technical intake, ensuring systems meet readiness criteria, supporting identity data onboarding, and guiding teams through established ICAM processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong cross‑team leadership, technical troubleshooting capability, and a detailed understanding of NASA ICAM onboarding workflows. Responsibilities: Lead NASA Launchpad onboarding efforts for new applications, services, and data sources, ensuring all technical, security, and environment readiness criteria are met. Serve as a point of coordination across NASA ICAM teams, including application owners, cybersecurity, infrastructure, NED identity ingestion teams, and testing groups. Support NED operational functions such as identity data mapping, attribute validation and schema management, access controls, and readiness assessments for identity ingestion workflows. Provide leadership during technical intake discussions, helping teams articulate requirements, identify gaps, and align with Launchpad processes. Coordinate environment configuration and validation activities across development, test, and production tiers. Lead troubleshooting efforts by driving issue identification, root‑cause analysis, resolution planning, and multi‑team collaboration. Support execution of integration testing cycles, defect triage activities, and verification of identity service functionality. Maintain high‑quality operational and technical documentation including runbooks, process guides, system integration checklists, and technical diagrams. Track progress, maintain status dashboards, escalate risks, and ensure Launchpad/NED onboarding activities remain on schedule. Champion consistency in onboarding practices by reinforcing standards, processes, and quality expectations. Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements within Launchpad and NED workstreams. Participate in and lead Agile processes, including daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and mini reviews (demos); prepare clear, concise status updates and progress reports for leadership to ensure visibility into Launchpad and NED activities. Participate and function as primary technical point of contact in security assessments and system compliance with NIST 800-63 controls Coordinate operational update activities and new service implementation activities within the Launchpad team. Prepare and lead weekly and monthly project reviews with the NASA customer and user community. Qualifications: Required: Experience in technical onboarding, system integration, and environment readiness within enterprise or government programs. Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, identity data flows, and authentication/authorization patterns. Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams and coordinate multiple onboarding efforts concurrently. Proficiency in troubleshooting configuration issues, log analysis, and collaborating with developers, application owners, and infrastructure teams. Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce internal onboarding artifacts, workflow diagrams, and operational guides. Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and secure communications, identity mapping, attribute validation, and multi‑environment coordination. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with ICAM systems, Launchpad processes, identity management life cycle, and onboarding frameworks. Background in civilian agency environments, STIG compliance considerations, or government program readiness activities. Experience supporting integration and release testing, defect management, and cross‑team technical assessments.
