We have an opportunity for a Lawyer or Associate to join our thriving Statutory Insurance - Workers' Compensation practice working with a highly regarded team based in our Newcastle office.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of one year post-admission experience in personal injury claims, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers. This is a genuine growth role for the right candidate, offering the opportunity for clear career progression within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Statutory Insurance NSW - Workers' Compensation section is a defendant insurance legal team which has approximately 70 people across the Sydney and Newcastle office.
About You
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- minimum one year of post-admission experience;
- experience working in the personal injury space, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers;
- experience on the defendant side is ideal;
- clear, concise legal writing skills;
- strong attention to detail; a strong commitment to client service; and
- initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
