Job Title: Lead 508 Compliance Officer Clearance Required: Public Trust – Federal Client requires US Citizenship Work Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC Alpha Omega is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead 508 Compliance Officer specializing in Website Design and Development to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, editing, maintaining, and documenting the look and flow of websites, ensuring they comply with 508 accessibility standards. This role involves collaborating with clients, implementing creative design solutions, and contributing to the development of accessible digital interfaces. Responsibilities: Website Testing: Test websites, ensuring compliance with 508 accessibility standards. Conduct interviews with clients to understand and clarify their goals for website establishment. Programming and Technical Knowledge: Provide automated tests for new development projects, ensuring repeatability and implementation at the unit level. Testing and Documentation: Develop and provide testing documentation/artifacts that verify software component interfaces, enabling potential reuse for similar applications. Conduct independent software validation for new products and systems, documenting test procedures and results to demonstrate thoroughness and applicability. Compliance and Standards: Ensure 508 compliance in all aspects of website design and development. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in accessibility standards. Required Qualifications: Experience/Skills: Ten (10) years of experience in website design and development or a related field Experience with SharePoint Designer 2010/2013/2016 Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Expertise in 508 accessibility standards and compliance Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent. Salary and Benefit Information: The likely salary range for this position is $141,800 - $151,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
