We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to drive test automation initiatives, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JMeter, Web Services automation, and database testing (SQL & PostgreSQL). This role involves designing and implementing automation frameworks, leading a team of testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes. What will you be doing? As the Automation Test Lead, you will spearhead our automation testing initiatives, driving strategy, and ensuring adherence to best practices. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable automation frameworks. Work independently in understanding the application, technology and drive for quality. Job Responsibilities Lead the automation testing efforts, define strategy, and ensure best practices are followed. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, and performance testing. Work independently, smartly and good with data analysis & analytics Automate web applications, APIs, and web services using Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, and JMeter. Develop test scripts using Java and JavaScript to automate test scenarios. Perform performance testing using JMeter and analyze results. Conduct database testing using SQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and validation. Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, or similar tools). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure requirements are well understood. Mentor and guide a team of automation testers, reviewing scripts and providing technical support. Identify test automation opportunities and drive improvements in test coverage, efficiency, and reliability. Analyze test results, debug issues, and report defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA. Requirements 7-10 years of analytical experience preferred - Retail knowledge a plus.
