About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Closing Specialist in Capital Finance as a part of Wholesale Lending Operations Division. In this role, you will: Complete pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial loans Coordinate loan closings, perform customer, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record Research complex business and operational decisions Review and prepare loan related documents Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Provide guidance and training to peers and may have limited supervisory responsibilities Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal and external customers Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Facilitate the closing and funding of new loan transactions including participations and loan restructures. Serve as a liaison to business divisions, underwriters, prospective clients, insurance brokers, attorneys, banks, letter of credit contacts and cash management contacts. Organize legal documents, internal documents and post-closing items. Coordinate funding logistics for new financings, participations and complex restructures. Review cash management arrangements; modify cash management structures, including preparation and negotiation of cash management agreements and set-up of accounts. Collect, review and negotiate acceptable insurance certificates and endorsements. Facilitate the issuance of letters of credit. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Experience with Asset Based Lending. Paralegal and/or finance experience Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Law Knowledge of Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACAs) and cash management systems. Proficient in reading and understanding complex loan documentation Commercial Insurance knowledge Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook) Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: This position will work a hybrid schedule – 3 days in office, 2 remote Ability to work at the posted location listed below Relocation benefits are not available for this role Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Location: 1800 Century Park E, Los Angeles, CA Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
