Lead Consultant - .NET and Cloud

Lead Consultant - .NET/Azure Hybrid Contract or Permanent Immediate Start We're looking to hire an experienced Lead Consultant to join our team. Based in Sydney you will be responsible for playing a key role in delivering modern software solutions for leading retail and financial services organisations. This is a hands-on role leadership role and we are looking for someone who enjoys being both strategic and technical. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape solutions, lead project delivery, mentor consultants and engineers, and remain actively involved in the delivery of enterprise applications. You'll be trusted to bridge the gap between business and technology — translating client requirements into practical, scalable solutions while guiding teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. What you’ll be doing? Leading the successful delivery of technology projects within large enterprise customers. Building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders at all levels. Managing and ownership of project outcomes, delivery risks, priorities and client expectations. Providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to consultants and development teams. Working hands-on across the Microsoft technology stack, contributing to solution design and development. Collaborating with clients to understand business challenges and shape technology solutions. Driving best practices across architecture, engineering, delivery and quality assurance. Supporting pre-sales, solution shaping and technical leadership activities where required. What are the skills and experience to be successful: Strong experience delivering software solutions within financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management or fintech environments. Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and navigate complex business environments. Experience leading projects, delivery teams and technical resources. Hands on skills in designing and implementing projects in ASP.NET and React. (7+ years) Expertise across the Microsoft Azure Tech Stack including (Functions, Azure DevOps, AKS, SQL, Data Factory etc) AWS skills preferred REST APIs and modern application architecture Why you’ll love working at Kodez?
