About the role
This role exists to create sales conversations. You will own the top of the funnel: researching prospects, running outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn, and booking qualified meetings for the senior sales team. The best fit enjoys the discipline of consistent daily outreach and takes pride in a clean, well-documented pipeline.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain targeted prospect lists across the client's core verticals and ideal client profile.
• Execute daily multi-channel outbound (email sequences, cold and warm calls, LinkedIn outreach) following the sales team's playbook.
• Qualify prospects and book discovery meetings directly onto the sales team's calendars, with research notes attached.
• Log all activity and keep lead statuses current in the CRM so pipeline reporting reflects reality.
• Run structured follow-up and nurture on leads that are not ready yet, so nothing goes cold.
• Sit in on discovery calls and demos to build fluency in how the client positions its offering.
• Report weekly activity and conversion metrics (touches, conversations, meetings booked, meetings held) to the sales lead.
What we are looking for
• 1 to 3 years in lead generation, SDR/ISR, appointment setting, or inside sales, ideally selling a technical or B2B service.
• Excellent spoken and written English, and confident on the phone with international business audiences.
• Organized and process-driven: comfortable running the same sequences consistently, every day, and documenting everything.
• Coachable and metrics-minded: treats activity numbers as feedback, not judgment.
• Comfortable learning technical subject matter well enough to hold a credible first conversation.
• Fully equipped home office with reliable internet, able to work the client's business hours.
Tools
CRM discipline is core to the role. Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar; LinkedIn Sales Navigator; email sequencing tools; and modern AI tools for research and drafting. The specific stack is confirmed with the client at kickoff.
Success looks like
• First 30 days: fluent in the client's pitch and ICP, lists built, sequences live, first meetings booked.
• By 90 days: a consistent weekly rhythm of qualified meetings on the sales team's calendars and a clean, current pipeline view.
• Ongoing: a growing share of closed-won revenue that started from this seat's outbound.
Progression
A clear lead-gen-to-AE growth path for strong performers, following the same trajectory as our previous placements (most recently an ISR promoted to AE within 4 months).
