Coordinate shift activities by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work; oversee pharmacy technician performance; and address scheduling and operational issues as needed. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures by monitoring adherence, reporting findings, and supporting departmental problem-solving initiatives. Contribute to workforce development by providing input on hiring, training, staff development, and performance evaluation, and by supporting specialty projects as assigned by Pharmacy Management. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional preferences we're seeking This technician position will support an embedded specialty pharmacist working in a pediatric specialty office. Fully remote position. Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM. No evenings, weekends or holidays.
