Main Responsibilities as Lead Pricing Analyst: Take full ownership of end-to-end pricing activity, from deep-dive analysis through to live rate deployment across our Non-Standard Motor products. Lead and develop a talented team, creating a culture of curiosity, growth and high performance. Use advanced modelling and data science techniques to unlock new opportunities within specialist Car, Van and Bike segments. Shape how we compete by blending market insight, performance data and commercial judgement. Partner with senior leaders to challenge thinking and guide direction. Play a key role in evolving our pricing capability, tools and approach. Skills and experience you need as Lead Pricing Analyst: A background in insurance pricing or a similar analytical field (motor experience is highly valued). Strong programming skills (SAS, R, Python or similar). Experience with predictive modelling techniques (GLMs, GBMs, machine learning methods etc.). Confidence working with tools like Emblem and Radar. A natural ability to connect insight with business impact. Experience leading or mentoring others, with a passion for developing talent. Strong communication skills - you can make complex ideas simple and compelling. The drive to take ownership, deliver results and push things forward.
