We are currently partnered with a regulated payments fintech building the future of P2P payments, B2B payments, remittances, and neo-banking. With their HQ based in Dubai and their recent successful expansion they are now looking to expand with a European hub in Porto.

What will you be doing?

• Build the QA automation strategy, frameworks, and tooling from the ground up.
• Establish end-to-end, integration, contract, and snapshot testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Implement AI-powered autonomous testing in production, enabling intelligent test generation, maintenance, and self-healing with robust governance and guardrails.
• Integrated automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines for critical user journeys. Including sign-up, onboarding, payments, top-ups, and more!

Who are we looking for?

• Although it is a lead title this role is completely an IC position, we are looking for someone who is able to lead projects and built automation completely from scratch
• Hands on experience with modern technologies such as Playwright or Cypress for web and Appium or Flutter for mobile.
• Extensive hands-on experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
• Built and deployed AI agents and workflow automations that eliminated repetitive manual tasks, streamlined QA processes, and increased team efficiency.
• Ideally from a fintech background but this is not a must

📍Location: Remote anywhere in Portugal (or nearby countries in the same time zone) or hybrid in Porto (if you love going into the office)

⏰ Working Hours: East Africa Time (EAT) with core collaboration hours from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EAT
