Lead Software Engineer

This role provides functional and technical support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounts Payables module. Responsibilities include system configuration, Solution design, production support, backlog management, leading requirement gathering, and full project lifecycle execution. Serves as a Technical Lead within the scrum team, manages intake of new demand, partners with business product lead and stakeholders to deliver effective system solutions. The Lead Software Engineer contributes extensive functional and technical expertise in enterprise financial systems, system functionality, and business process optimization. This position is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and support of complex business applications, integrations, and platform enhancements. The role provides leadership, solution guidance, and mentorship to development teams while ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards. The candidate will serve as a Leader and active contributor, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and support teams to design and implement system integrations and enhancements that promote efficiency, compliance, scalability, and business growth. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Lead in designing, implementing, and supporting various aspects of Oracle Accounts Payables, Procurement, Sourcing. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, analysts, and project team members. Gather, organize, and document requirements. Analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity and risk. Participate in quality assurance testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing for various aspects of Oracle Accounts Payables, Procurement, Sourcing. Assist with system/data analysis and report solution development based on requirements. Analyze complex production issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution efforts. Follow Agile Practices to form high performing delivery teams Responsible for maintaining team backlog to sustain platform health and drive continuous growth Follow guidelines and work well within a team environment Ensure team collaboration to work towards issue resolutions What are the requirements needed for this position? 7+ years of Business Analyst, Project Management or software engineering experience 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise Financial ERP systems (ex: Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JDE, etc.) 5+ years of technology, accounting, or finance experience 5+ years working with General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules, month-end and year-end closing activities, creating and maintaining ledger setups Familiarity with IT general controls (ITGC) Understanding of data conversion and system integration Familiarity with Agile methodology, values, principles, framework, and practices Familiarity with technology tools such as: SQL, API, ETL / SSIS, ODI, data marts, .NET, etc. What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting , Information Technology, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Financials Cloud General Ledger and Fixed Assets module Great interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects Proficiency with business system design/ modeling, documentation and analysis techniques, and testing methodologies Pay Range: $103,800.00 - $173,300.00 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
