Lead Software Engineer - Display Services

We are on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced and exciting development environment with a team of experienced software and systems engineers to satisfy technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ensure compliance with certification requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Display applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Testing and Integration on test benches in labs. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development. US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline Software Engineering degree or related experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development. Strong C++ or Object-oriented programming skills. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Strong software architecture and design development skills. WE VALUE Advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields. SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding Experience in developing software for embedded systems. Multi-core / multi-thread development experience. Software development lifecycle experience per DO-178C. Experience with Software Verification and Validation using C++. Strong analytical and software development skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
