Lead Solution Architect (Technical Presales) Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Working model: Hybrid; work at client sites when needed About CoderPush CoderPush is an engineering and technology services company. We help clients build and modernize software, cloud, data, AI and enterprise systems, including greenfield products, legacy environments and regulated industries. About the Role We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect to own technical presales and improve solution architecture across CoderPush. You will work with clients, Sales and Delivery to understand business problems, shape practical solutions and ensure that our proposals can be delivered successfully. This role covers more than cloud and infrastructure. Solutions may include custom software, integrations, data platforms, AI, on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, public cloud or hybrid environments. What You Will Own Own technical presales from opportunity qualification and discovery through proposal, presentation, approval and delivery handover. Lead client discovery to understand business outcomes, current systems, constraints, stakeholders, security needs, budgets and delivery priorities. Decide whether and how CoderPush should pursue an opportunity by assessing technical, delivery and commercial fit and challenging weak requirements, hidden dependencies or unrealistic estimates. Shape and review high-level architectures across software, APIs, integration, infrastructure, cloud, data and AI, working with specialists when needed. Prepare the technical content of proposals, including architecture, scope, estimates, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, risks, staffing and implementation roadmap. Present and explain recommendations and trade-offs to client executives, senior IT stakeholders and technical teams. Lead the technical handover to Delivery and advise selected strategic or high-risk engagements without becoming the default delivery owner. Mentor Solution Architects and create reusable discovery guides, reference architectures, estimation methods, proposal components and review practices. What You Need 8+ years of relevant experience across software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technical consulting, cloud architecture or senior technical leadership. A hands-on software or infrastructure background, with experience designing and delivering significant solutions end-to-end. Strong client-facing experience in discovery, technical consulting, presales, proposals or architecture advisory. Broad knowledge of software and enterprise architecture, with the ability to work across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud and hybrid environments. Experience preparing estimates, scopes of work, assumptions, exclusions, risks, delivery plans or RFP responses. Good commercial judgment and the ability to balance client value, delivery feasibility and CoderPush’s business interests. Strong spoken and written business English for workshops, proposals, technical documents and presentations. Experience leading or mentoring architects and technical specialists, with sound judgment around information security, data privacy and client confidentiality. Nice to Have Experience in banking, fintech, securities, e-commerce, SaaS or other regulated environments. Experience with data platforms, analytics, AI/ML or agentic systems. Depth in AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud or enterprise infrastructure, supported by relevant certifications. Experience leading RFP/RFI responses, multi-vendor solution design or architecture practices. Practical use of AI tools to improve research, architecture analysis and proposal quality while protecting confidential information. What Success Looks Like Sales and Delivery have a clear technical owner for qualified opportunities, and proposals contain realistic scope, estimates, assumptions and risks. Clients receive clear recommendations that connect business outcomes with sound technical decisions. Reusable standards and a stronger architecture team improve presales speed, consistency and delivery handover.
