Lead Transportation Planner

Position: Senior Urban Transportation Planning Expert Experience: 10+ Years Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Transport Planning, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering (Transportation), or equivalent. Kannada Speaking Preferred Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Urban Transportation Planning Expert to lead transportation and mobility planning initiatives for Smart Cities, urban infrastructure projects, townships, and municipal development programs. The candidate will be responsible for developing sustainable, efficient, and integrated mobility solutions that enhance urban connectivity and improve transportation systems. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive urban transportation and mobility plans for cities, townships, and industrial developments. Conduct traffic studies, travel demand analysis, and transportation network assessments. Develop and implement sustainable mobility solutions, including public transport, cycling, pedestrian infrastructure, and multimodal integration. Plan and design Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) infrastructure such as pedestrian pathways and cycling networks. Develop Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) strategies and mobility frameworks. Prepare DPRs, feasibility studies, mobility assessments, and transportation master plans. Plan parking management systems and urban traffic management strategies. Coordinate with government agencies, urban local bodies, consultants, and stakeholders. Support Smart City, municipal, and urban infrastructure projects with transportation planning expertise. Ensure compliance with national and state urban transport policies and guidelines. Required Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in Urban Transportation Planning and Mobility Management. Experience in Smart City, township, industrial park, municipal, or urban infrastructure projects. Expertise in NMT planning, TOD, parking management, and public transportation systems. Experience in transportation modelling, traffic impact assessment, and mobility planning. Experience in preparing planning and design guidelines for urban transportation projects.
