Job Summary Drive value optimization initiatives across our organization by leading cross-functional teams to analyze, develop, and implement strategies that maximize business value, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance. Essential Functions Identify key Portfolio-level business and engineering Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Initiate and progress Lean Portfolio Management practices in DT portfolio, leveraging experience and proven practices. Support Dir Lean Portfolio Management in strategic management of Value Management demand and roadmap. Partner with DPM team for Portfolio Roadmap and EPIC OKR adoption and a monthly value dashboard for value streams. Implement Portfolio KANBAN ideation to implementation for Portfolio level demand. Aid in identifying VMO team and train best practices across the DT Portfolios. Lead a team thru the hybrid governance and compliance environment of PLM to LPM is in good standing while striving to relentlessly improve and drive lean processes. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience. Plus 6 years of relevant work experience. • SAFE 6.0 LPM Certified Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience. Plus 8 years of relevant work experience. • 6-9 years’ experience implementing lean practices/Lean Portfolio Management • SAFE 6.0 Program Consultant • EBAS Certified • Agility Health Radar experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and cross functional collaboration Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and value optimization strategies Ability to support training and adoption of portfolio management best practices Strong accountability for maintaining standards, governance, and deliverable quality Support the development and maintenance of portfolio-wide value management frameworks and tools. Ability to conduct financial, operational, and risk analyses to assess value across projects and programs. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for value enhancement. Assist in the prioritization of projects based on strategic value, ROI, and resource constraints. Track and report on key performance indicators related to portfolio value realization. Prepare analyses, dashboards, and reports to communicate portfolio value insights to leadership. Contribute to the continuous improvement of value management processes and practices. Stay informed on best practices and industry trends in value management and portfolio optimization. The salary/hourly range is $103,700.00 – $134,460.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee’s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee’s base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
