About the Role As a Seasonal Lead Virtual Tax Professional, you will lead a remote team of Virtual Tax Professionals focused on supporting test and learn initiatives on the Innovations team. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate tax outcomes, consistent client experiences, and strong team performance through virtual leadership, technical expertise, and ongoing coaching. This role combines people leadership with hands-on tax guidance and quality oversight in a fully virtual environment. Day to day, you’ll... Recruit, interview, and hire seasonal Virtual Tax Professionals to meet business needs Deliver training on tax policies, virtual platforms, and workflow systems Create, manage, and adjust team schedules to support coverage and performance goals Monitor attendance, productivity, and compliance with virtual work expectations Review performance metrics and provide timely coaching and feedback Foster a collaborative and inclusive virtual work environment Provide technical tax support and guidance on complex tax scenarios Ensure adherence to Internal Revenue Service requirements and company compliance standards Support client escalations and virtual service delivery as needed Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Work Experience: Ability to lead, motivate, and coach remote teams effectively Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience serving clients in a virtual or remote environment Flexibility to work extended or varied hours during the seasonal period Internet speed of at least 15 Mbps Supervisory or people leadership experience 3 years of experience in tax preparation and/or tax research Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
