Leadership Programs Coordinator Fully Remote • Fredericksburg, VA 22401 Apply Apply Description Overview of the Position As a part of the Pro-Life Generation, Students for Life of America is seeking a Leadership Programs Coordinator to build, equip, and multiply the organization’s top student leaders. This role provides strategic mentorship for all advanced student leaders, ensuring students are prepared to lead effectively on campus, in their communities, and beyond. The Leadership Programs Coordinator will oversee a minimum of two fellowship programs, with a focus on excellence, scalability, and measurable outcomes. This position requires strong people skills, program building, and strategic thinking. The ideal applicant is passionate about developing student leaders and future movement professionals. Responsibilities National Leaders Collective Responsibilities Assist with National Leaders Collective applications, selection processes, and marketing efforts. Assist in organizing and executing the in-person kickoff event for the National Leaders Collective. Work with the National Events Team as needed to manage hotel accommodations and travel logistics for the kickoff weekend. Participate in maintaining a high standard of leadership formation and measurable impact. Collect and curate student and alumni stories from leadership programs for internal reporting and external storytelling. Assist in leading additional leadership programs and initiatives as needed to support organizational priorities. Mentor fellows in developing and executing the required projects for their program and encouraging them to set high standards for achievement Assist in developing individual program syllabi each year Organize and communicate with speakers and mentors for the Fellowship programs Maintain consistent communication with Fellows throughout the year via the Slack channel, Weekly Updates, regular check ins, and leading bimonthly calls Communicate relevant news and opportunities to the Fellows throughout the year and assist in recruiting them for SFLA mobilizations and events Other Responsibilities Attend weekly tactical calls and individual check in calls Assist in developing, organizing, and executing new leadership programs in response to organizational needs and growth opportunities. Annually evaluate all leadership programs, ensuring clear goals, tangible outcomes, and continuous improvement. Be responsible for marketing plans as assigned by the Director of Leadership Initiatives. Assist in overseeing and growing the SFLA Alumni Association Assist in promoting SFLA graduate cords to graduating students in the fall and spring semesters. Assist in coordinating international requests and relationships related to Leadership Initiatives. Help manage SFLA HQ to ensure all leadership resources housed on Kajabi or any similar platform are current, relevant, and accessible. Take ownership of planning and executing Leadership Huddles and All Calls for the fellows as needed Qualifications Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Candidates must have knowledge of grammar rules and utilize the oxford comma. Strong writing, editing, and research skills. Experience in marketing, communications, or legislative affairs is a plus. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks and environments. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Who Are We Looking For Someone with intense hunger and drive to grow our fellowship programs. This requires constant assessing and innovating. A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for serving in the pro-life field are a must.  Must be teachable to learn SFLA technologies and platforms. Candidates must be self- motivated, a good problem solver, have an entrepreneurial spirit, expert multi-tasker, maintain confidentiality, able to work independently, and be a highly-organized person. Ideal candidates are innovative and creative and eager to try new ideas Position Details Position Type This is a full-time salaried position working at least 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Some weekend work will be required for events and other necessary tasks. Physical Demands Must have the ability to operate technical equipment such as a computer and sit for extended periods of time.  Must be able to withstand long periods of driving. Other physical demands may include: setting up displays or events, standing during display/event times, walking outside for long periods of time (door to door canvassing) and participating in local and national pro-life marches. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Travel Travel to the National Leaders Collective in June. Travel to bi-annual team trainings in January and July is required. Work Authorization Must be able to successfully complete an I-9.  The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.
