We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Leave of Absence & Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee leave programs and workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance while delivering an exceptional employee experience. What You'll Do Leave of Absence Administration Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, personal leave, military leave, and other protected leaves. Review and process leave requests and required documentation. Monitor leave timelines and coordinate return-to-work processes. Partner with employees, leaders, and benefit providers to ensure seamless leave administration. Maintain accurate and confidential records. Workers' Compensation Administration Manage workers' compensation claims from initial report through closure. Coordinate with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, healthcare providers, and employees. Track claim progress, costs, and return-to-work opportunities. Support transitional duty and modified work programs. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and regulations. Compliance & Reporting Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and Workers' Compensation requirements. Analyze leave and workers' compensation trends and prepare reports. Assist with audits and regulatory inquiries. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in leave administration, workers' compensation, benefits administration, or HR operations. Experience managing FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation claims. Strong knowledge of leave and disability management practices. Excellent organizational, case management, and communication skills. High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality. Experience working with HRIS, leave management, and claims management systems. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
