The Opportunity
As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you'll play an integral role in supporting lawyers across a diverse and rewarding caseload. You'll help keep matters progressing smoothly by managing administrative and legal support activities while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
Providing high-quality administrative and litigation support to lawyers.
Managing client communications and acting as a key point of contact.
Coordinating appointments, diaries and file management.
Preparing legal correspondence and court documents.
Assisting with court preparation, including briefs, court books, hearing materials and subpoenas.
Following up with clients, medical providers, insurers and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress efficiently.
Maintaining accurate client records and databases.
Supporting billing processes and general practice administration.
Working collaboratively with lawyers and fellow legal assistants to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
About you
You'll be someone who thrives in a busy legal environment and enjoys being a trusted support to your team.
You'll ideally bring:
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or strong administration experience
Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Initiative, professionalism and a client-first approach.
