Job Summary We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially minded Legal Contracts Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts across the EMEA and Americas regions, supporting the business in delivering timely, pragmatic and risk-aware legal advice. This role is ideally suited to a legal and business professional with strong contract management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, global market intelligence environment. The Legal Contracts Manager will work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, Finance and Marketing, as well as external customers, data providers and partners, to ensure contracts are aligned with the company’s commercial objectives, internal policies and applicable legal requirements. Core Responsibilities Contract Advisory Draft, review and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents, including but not limited to: • Master Subscription Agreements; • Data Provider Agreements; • Non-Disclosure Agreements; • Order Forms; • Amendments and renewals; • Other customer, supplier and partner agreements; • Ensure contractual terms are consistent with company policies, commercial requirements, risk appetite and applicable legal standards; • Provide practical, business-focused legal and contractual guidance to internal stakeholders. Contract Negotiation • Support the Sales, Product and other business teams in the negotiation of commercial agreements with customers, vendors and data providers. • Coordinate communications between internal stakeholders and external counterparties to facilitate efficient contract negotiation and execution. • Escalate complex or high-risk legal and commercial issues to the Global Director of Legal & Compliance, providing clear analysis and recommendations where appropriate. • Help ensure negotiations are handled efficiently, professionally and in line with internal approval processes. Contract Renewals and Amendments • Support the timely management of contract renewals, extensions, amendments and modifications. • Work closely with Sales and Product and other relevant teams to ensure renewal and amendment terms accurately reflect agreed commercial arrangements. • Assist in identifying upcoming renewal deadlines and supporting stakeholders to manage contractual obligations proactively. Collaboration & Cross Functional Working • Partner with internal departments to ensure contract terms support business objectives while appropriately managing legal and commercial risk. • Liaise with key stakeholders across the organisation on contractual, legal and compliance related matters. • Build strong working relationships with teams across multiple jurisdictions and time zones, supporting a consistent and collaborative approach to contract management. Risk Management • Identify, assess and communicate potential legal, commercial and operational risks arising from contract terms and conditions. • Recommend appropriate mitigation strategies and alternative drafting positions to support the business while protecting the company’s interests. • Ensure contractual risks are appropriately escalated, documented and managed in accordance with internal processes. Legal Research & Advisory • Conduct legal research, where required, on applicable laws, regulations and market practices relevant to the company’s operations. • Provide clear and practical summaries of legal developments and their potential impact on the business. Documentation and Reporting • Prepare, maintain and organise accurate, complete and up-to-date contract documentation. • Maintain comprehensive records of contract reviews in the Contract Management Tracker. • Support month-end reporting by ensuring contract data is accurate, timely and appropriately categorised. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of legal templates, playbooks and contract management resources. Training and Support • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract management processes, legal policies, approval workflows and best practices. • Support the business in understanding key contractual terms, obligations and risk areas. • Promote consistent and effective use of contract templates, negotiation guidelines and internal legal processes. Process Improvement • Continuously review and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency, consistency and scalability. • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce turnaround times and improve stakeholder experience. • Support the implementation of legal operations initiatives, tools and process enhancements that enable business growth and effective risk management. General and Ad Hoc Responsibilities • Support the Global Director of Legal & Compliance and wider Legal & Compliance team with administrative duties, reporting activities and ad hoc projects as required. • Assist with broader legal, compliance and operational initiatives from time to time. • Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role and business needs Key Skills and Experience • Strong experience reviewing, drafting and managing commercial contracts, ideally within a technology, data, information services, SaaS, media or market intelligence business. • Good understanding of commercial contract principles, including liability, indemnities, confidentiality, intellectual property, data use, termination, renewals and payment terms. • Experience supporting contract negotiations across multiple jurisdictions, preferably including EMEA and the Americas. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal and contractual concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. • Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach. • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with competing priorities. • Experience using contract management systems, trackers or legal operations tools would be advantageous. Academic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in law or business-related field. • A certification or training in contract management (ideal but not essential) Relevant Experience: • 2+ years proven experience as a Legal Contracts Manager, or in a similar role, preferably within the technology, data, information services, SaaS, media or market intelligence business.
