Role Description The Licensed Mental Health Professional is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing high-quality, ethical mental health services to clients through TherapyMantra’s online platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and, where applicable, couples or family therapy sessions via secure video or chat, completing clinical assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions. The professional will monitor client progress, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and coordinate case management activities as needed, including referrals and collaboration with other providers. Additional tasks may include participating in crisis intervention support, contributing to clinical quality initiatives, and engaging in regular supervision or peer consultation to uphold best practices in care. The role offers flexibility in scheduling while requiring consistent availability during agreed-upon hours and adherence to all relevant licensure, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in Mental Health Care and Mental Health, with the ability to provide client-centered, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Academic and practical background in Psychology, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
• Competence in Case Management, including care coordination, referrals, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic client outcomes.
• Demonstrated skills in Crisis Intervention, including risk assessment, safety planning, and de-escalation in urgent or high-risk situations.
• Active, unrestricted licensure (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) in at least one jurisdiction where TherapyMantra operates.
• Experience providing telehealth or online therapy, with comfort using digital platforms and maintaining confidentiality in virtual settings.
• Excellent communication, cultural humility, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and regions.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, adherence to ethical guidelines, and participation in supervision or peer consultation as required.
