Hybrid Must be located in Texas Summary Provides engaging, student-centered instruction within an online Limited Medical X-Ray Technologist program, supporting student learning, academic success, and progression toward licensure. Delivers course content, evaluates student performance, monitors academic progress, and provides individualized tutoring, remediation, and retention support to an assigned cohort of students. Contributes to curriculum development, continuous program improvement, and student outcome initiatives while collaborating with faculty and program leadership to ensure a high-quality educational experience. Operates effectively in a remote learning environment, fostering student engagement, accountability, and successful program completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Deliver engaging online instruction and facilitate learning activities that support student success and licensure preparation. • Provide academic guidance, tutoring, remediation, and individualized support to promote student engagement, retention, and progression. • Monitor student performance, attendance, participation, and academic outcomes, implementing intervention strategies as needed. • Maintain timely grading, meaningful feedback, and consistent communication within the online learning environment. • Reinforce core radiography concepts, including patient care, imaging procedures, positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety. • Track student progress and maintain accurate records using program tracking and reporting tools. • Contribute to curriculum development, instructional resource creation, and continuous program improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with program leadership, faculty, and student support teams to address student needs and enhance educational outcomes. • Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities to maintain instructional effectiveness and program consistency. • Support student satisfaction, retention, program completion, and licensure success through proactive communication and academic support. Education • Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license/credential required. • Education and professional experience sufficient to teach Limited Medical X-Ray Technologist coursework. • Preferred Qualifications • ARRT certification in Radiography. Experience • Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential with professional experience in diagnostic radiography. • Experience teaching radiography or allied health coursework in an online learning environment. • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, patient care, imaging principles, digital imaging, and radiation safety. • Experience providing academic support, tutoring, remediation, and student success coaching. • Proficiency with learning management systems, virtual learning platforms, and educational technology. • Experience tracking student performance, retention, and academic outcomes using data and reporting tools. • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities. • Experience working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with faculty and program leadership. • Curriculum development experience and experience working with adult learners preferred.
