Loan Servicing Specialist

Role: This role is responsible for reviewing collateral protection documentation and reports, handling escrow accounts for mortgage loans, and assisting with perfecting liens on all collateralized loans. Summary of Responsibilities: Ensure all loans have proper documentation of escrow accounts, homeowners’ insurance, county taxes, disbursement dates and payment amounts Work with and monitor various reports generated by collateral protection insurance vendor and/or Keystone to ensure proper charges/refunds are being posted and maintain accurate loan records Review and analyze loan servicing reports to ensure accurate loan records, identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain quality servicing standards Maintain an awareness of mortgage servicing rules and regulations and state motor vehicle rules and inform management of any procedural changes/updates Conduct monthly escrow analyses to ensure accurate tax and insurance disbursements, account compliance, and payment adjustments. Perform loan file maintenance, including but not limited to due date changes, automatic payment transfer set up, loan modifications, skip-a-payments, payment reversals Review title documentation to identify and resolve title work issues to ensure accurate and timely lien placement with state motor vehicle agencies, dealerships and branch/loan personnel Collaborate with branch personnel to provide loan servicing support and address servicing inquiries. Answer incoming calls and reply to emails from members and staff. Assist with quoting title fees and issuing 90 day permits to members and/or loan personnel. Process and/or monitor Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) and Member’s Choice Insurance claims. Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (no weekends) Remote work is available after three months (Hybrid). Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience. Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school preferred.
