Local Payments Specialist

The Local Payments Specialist is an role responsible for managing daily activities related to payments processing and performing investigations, contacting support teams and coordinating BAU processes within the team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert, support all controls and top-level of service. This is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Payments Ops team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all payments. Responsibilities: Processing of settlement documents in local currency received in paper or electronic form; Executing of necessary technological procedures to perform accounting entries; Sending of payments to the Payment System SEP in accordance with the internal rules and rules of the payment system; Conducting all investigations concerning local currency payments; Analysis of information completeness about participants of incoming funds transfers in local currency in line with local legislation; Processing of customer related commissions and charges; Processing and performing respective controls related to foreign currency incoming and outgoing payments as back-up; Registration and signing payment demands rejection, prepare letters on arrests; Filing of documents related to Operations activity; To prepare different reports concerning Operations activities, volumes, overdue commissions; To ensure execution of the internal control procedures and policies related to the unit activity; to be fully compliant with applicable Citi requirements, Policies and Procedure as well as Local regulations; To participate, when required, in testing of Operations technical systems upgrades and enhancements; Work shifts; Other tasks required by the Employer.
