For our satellite office in Hoogstraten (Belgium), Riverman Cruise Management and Riverman Nautical are looking for a Locks & Docks Coordinator for our growing fleet, at the earliest possible starting date.

Your responsibilities:

• Entering approved itineraries into the Dockmaster system
• Reserving berths according to ship schedules
• Monitoring and following up on reservation processes
• Updating schedules when changes occur
• Maintaining contacts with ports and berth providers
• Checking invoices for port fees, drinking water, shore power, waste disposal, etc.
• Collaborating and communicating with the Operations Department, the office in Therwil, and the ships
• Administrative processing of applications, permits, and confirmations
• Managing email inboxes, documents, and schedules
• Assisting in finding solutions for short-term schedule changes

What we expect from you:

· Strong administrative and communication skills

· Excellent organisational abilities, with a high degree of independence and responsibility

· Flexibility

· Resilience and a solution-oriented mindset

· Good command of German and English (additional languages are an advantage)

· Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and planning systems

· Affinity with mobile apps, booking platforms, etc.

· Experience in the river cruise industry, shipping, tourism, or logistics is an advantage
