Apply Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, and ensure consistent achievement of on-time delivery metrics. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with company standards and external regulations. Key Responsibilities Inbound & Outbound Logistics Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Collaborate with suppliers, distribution centers, and customers to confirm shipping schedules and resolve issues. Manage and track shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork. Carrier Management Serve as the main point of contact for freight carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers. Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate rates and service levels to optimize cost and delivery times. Resolve freight-related issues including delays, damages, and claims. On-Time Delivery Performance Monitor and analyze delivery metrics to ensure on-time performance targets are consistently met or exceeded. Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address root causes of late deliveries. Maintain accurate records and reporting tools to provide insights into shipping and delivery performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and production teams to align logistics plans with business needs. Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to all transportation regulations and company policies. Maintain proper records of shipments, carrier invoices, and freight audits. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong understanding of freight and carrier operations (LTL, FTL, international, etc.). Proven track record in achieving or improving on-time delivery performance. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Peered Skills Experience with transportation management systems (TMS). Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms. Data-driven mindset with experience in logistics KPI reporting and analysis.
