SoftBank Robotics America is orchestrating an exciting construction automation special projects initiative and is seeking a Logistics & Data Management Coordinator to join the team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the movement, tracking, reporting, and data management of construction equipment, vehicles, and technology assets while ensuring accurate records throughout the asset lifecycle. Position Summary The Logistics & Data Management Coordinator is responsible for enterprise asset data management, reporting, and logistics coordination across multiple projects and fleets. Data management is the primary focus of the role, with logistics coordination as a closely connected secondary responsibility. The position ensures assets are accurately received, documented, tracked, reconciled, and reported while supporting inventory visibility, operational readiness, and data integrity. Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, OEMs, dealerships, project teams, and field personnel, this role helps maintain a single source of truth for enterprise asset information. The coordinator will manage complex spreadsheets and custom dashboards, identify and correct data issues, reduce manual reporting effort where possible, and communicate asset status and insights to stakeholders ranging from field teams to senior leadership. What You'll Do: Asset Data Management & Reporting Create, maintain, and reconcile accurate asset records across company data management tools, spreadsheets, and related systems. Manage complex Excel-based data sets and macro-enabled workbooks used to track equipment, vehicles, technology hardware, and related assets. Validate asset information for completeness and accuracy, identify erroneous or inconsistent data, and make timely corrections. Verify serial numbers, asset identifiers, purchase orders, receiving documentation, location, ownership, status, and deployment information. Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reports that support fleet visibility, operational performance, and decision-making. Partner with internal stakeholders to modify reports, dashboards, and data sets based on evolving business needs. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data entry, reporting, and dashboard processes and reduce manual input. Logistics Coordination Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with OEMs, dealerships, suppliers, logistics providers, project sites, storage facilities, and vendors. Track deliveries and asset movements and assist in resolving shipping, receiving, or location discrepancies quickly. Coordinate asset transfers and mobilization between project sites, storage locations, vendors, and other destinations. Maintain frequent communication with field personnel and internal teams to confirm asset location, movement, and status, including in situations where tracking remains manual. Respond to time-sensitive logistics issues, coordinate next steps, and help move equipment from one location to another as operational needs change. Asset Receiving & Lifecycle Support Coordinate the receipt of equipment, vehicles, technology hardware, and related assets. Ensure asset information is complete and accurate prior to deployment. Support operational readiness tracking, inventory audits, and asset reconciliation activities. Maintain organized documentation supporting receiving, asset creation, transfers, and audit requests throughout the asset lifecycle. Cross-Functional Communication & Decision Support Translate detailed asset and operational data into clear, usable information for a wide range of stakeholders. Present or explain data, reporting, and asset status to audiences ranging from field teams and program management to Finance and senior executives. Collaborate across functional groups and regions to understand reporting needs, resolve data issues, and improve the usefulness of shared dashboards and reports. Communicate clearly across a fast-paced global organization spanning multiple time zones. Data Quality, Process Improvement & Controls Perform routine data validation and quality checks to maintain reliable, up-to-date information. Maintain standardized documentation, filing, and data-management practices. Identify opportunities to improve asset tracking, logistics workflows, reporting processes, and data quality. Track key performance indicators such as asset receiving turnaround time, data accuracy and completeness, equipment deployment status, inventory reconciliation, and asset location accuracy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of experience in data management, logistics, inventory management, asset management, supply chain, fleet operations, reporting, or related coordination roles. Strong Microsoft Excel capability is highly preferred, including experience with nested formulas, VLOOKUP or similar lookup functions, data validation, and managing large or complex spreadsheets. Basic familiarity with macro-enabled Excel workbooks and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is strongly preferred. Experience creating, maintaining, or improving operational dashboards and recurring reports. General familiarity with ERP, CSM, or comparable enterprise data-management environments; experience working in partially manual tracking environments is also valuable. Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Able to move seamlessly between analytical desk work and hands-on logistics coordination with field teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Capable of digesting detailed information and communicating the key message clearly to stakeholders at every level of the organization, including senior executives. Proactive in identifying ways to make dashboards, reporting, and tracking processes more automated, scalable, and less dependent on manual input. Interested in construction equipment, fleet operations, asset management, or technology-enabled operations. Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced global corporate environment spanning multiple time zones. Work Environment & Travel This is a remote position. The role requires approximately 25%-30% travel. Travel will include visits to construction sites in Texas and Ohio and may also include travel to dealer locations as business needs require.
