5C DATA CENTERS Join the Future of Digital Infrastructure Are you a passionate Logistics Specialist looking to make a meaningful impact? We're building the next generation of digital infrastructure powering hyperscalers, AI innovation, and high-performance computing across North America. JOB TITLE Logistics Specialist DEPARTMENT Preconstruction/Construction Delivery LOCATION Remote -US WORK ARRANGEMENT Remote TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel up to 25% SALARY RANGE $60,000 – $70,000 Role Summary We're looking for a Logistics Specialist to support the planning, tracking, coordination, and execution of material movement across the company's data center construction portfolio. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate shipment visibility, coordinating deliveries with vendors and project teams, supporting site receiving activities, and helping ensure critical materials arrive when and where they are needed. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with the Logistics Manager / Logistics Lead, Procurement, Project Controls, Finance, vendors, carriers, and field teams to reduce delivery surprises, improve payment and milestone visibility, and keep project-critical materials flowing to the sites. How We Work at 5C Our core values guide how we collaborate, make decisions, support one another, and serve our customers. We're looking for people who embrace them and help us build something great. What You Will Do Own shipment visibility and expediting for assigned critical and long-lead materials - track PO status, ship dates, delivery windows, carrier information, and risk level, and drive expediting action on anything at risk of delay. Identify delivery constraints and coordinate mitigation or recovery plans with vendors, manufacturers, freight providers, warehouses, 3PLs, and site teams to keep critical materials on schedule. Investigate shipment and receiving exceptions - delays, damage, shortages, and discrepancies - and drive them through documented closure, escalating unresolved issues that threaten construction schedule or site readiness. Reconcile bills of lading, packing slips, proofs of delivery, and receiving records to maintain accurate, audit-ready material accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with Procurement to confirm PO information, delivery requirements, shipping instructions, and vendor commitments are locked in before materials are released. Maintain logistics dashboards and exception reporting for project teams and leadership, giving early visibility into upcoming deliveries, high-risk items, and unresolved vendor or carrier issues. Travel of up to 25% may be required, depending on project and site needs. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience required, additional relevant logistics or construction experience is preferred. 3+ years of experience in logistics, materials coordination, procurement operations, supply chain, or construction materials management - with direct experience resolving shipment delays, exceptions, or vendor/carrier issues, not just tracking status. Demonstrated ability to identify delivery risk early and drive it to resolution, including expediting, exception management, and cross-functional problem-solving. Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built while projects are active. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint. Highly organized and detail-oriented in managing multiple shipments, vendors, and projects simultaneously, with strong documentation discipline across bills of lading, packing slips, and receiving records.
