Polikov Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected, A-rated workers’ compensation organization seeking a Safety Specialist / Loss Control Consultant for its South Georgia territory.
This is 100% remote but the person must be located in Macon, Columbus, Waycross, LaGrange, Warner Robins vicinity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety or loss-control professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships and helping employers create safer workplaces.
The Safety Specialist will manage approximately 20–25 accounts and visit clients regularly—generally at least once per month—to identify workplace risks, reduce accidents and improve overall safety performance.
This is a 100% home-based position with the flexibility to manage your own schedule. The company also provides a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Experience in workplace safety, loss control, loss prevention, risk control, occupational safety, EHS or a related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and workplace safety best practices.
- Experience performing safety assessments, accident investigations or employee training.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a geographic territory.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and influencing management and employees.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout South Georgia.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable learning and using modern reporting technology.
- Safety-related certifications such as CSP, ASP, ARM designations credentials are a plus.
