Who You Are We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and documentation abilities. The ideal candidate will lead complex migration projects while maintaining clear communication channels with stakeholders and producing high-quality documentation. Projects include Google Workspace to M365 transitions, on-premises to cloud infrastructure migrations, and M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations. This position requires availability to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time to meet client obligations. What You’ll Do - Plan, document, and execute various types of migration projects: - Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 - Exchange On-premises to Exchange Online - M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations - SharePoint On-premises to SharePoint Online - Lead client workshops and technical discovery sessions - Conduct detailed technical assessments and present findings to stakeholders - Create comprehensive migration documentation, including: - Technical design documents - Migration runbooks - Risk mitigation plans - User communication templates - Knowledge transfer documentation - Develop and implement migration strategies with minimal operational impact - Maintain regular communication with clients throughout project lifecycle - Conduct effective status meetings and progress reviews - Manage environment coexistence during migrations - Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 environments - Implement security and governance best practices - Provide post-migration support and knowledge transfer Qualification (Must Have) - Minimum 5 years of Microsoft 365 administration experience - Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification Proven experience in: - Exchange migrations (On-premises and online) - M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations - Active Directory and Azure AD - SharePoint Online and On-premises Deep knowledge of: - Exchange Online and Exchange Server - Microsoft Teams - OneDrive for Business - Azure AD Connect - Hybrid Configurations Experience with migration tools: - BitTitan MigrationWiz - Quest Migration Tools - Native Microsoft Migration Tools - PowerShell proficiency for automation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Strong technical documentation experience Qualification (Nice to Have) Certifications: - Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate - Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Google Workspace Administrator Experience with: - Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager - Microsoft Information Protection and Governance - Azure Information Protection - Exchange Load Balancing - Database Availability Groups (DAG) Knowledge of: - Microsoft FastTrack Methodologies - Cloud Security and Compliance - Advanced PowerShell and automation - Project management experience - Experience in creating client-facing documentation - Previous consulting experience Critical Personal Skills: - Outstanding interpersonal and client communication abilities - Excellence in technical writing and documentation - Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills - Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Professional and confident client-facing demeanor - Proven stakeholder management experience - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Proactivity and autonomy - Quality and detail-oriented mindset - Experience in managing client expectations and delivering difficult messages professionally What We Offer Competitive compensation package & benefits package Company Perks, and various brand discounts Company events, recognitions, and celebrations Career development and growth opportunity.
