Role Description The Managed Care Analytics Coordinator is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting managed care and reimbursement strategies through data analysis and reporting. In this role, the coordinator reviews payer contracts, compiles and analyzes claims and reimbursement data, and prepares dashboards and reports to highlight trends, performance, and opportunities for improvement. The position collaborates with revenue cycle, finance, and operations teams to evaluate contract performance, identify variances, and recommend data-driven actions to optimize managed care outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining databases and analytic tools, validating data accuracy, assisting with modeling for contract negotiations, and responding to ad hoc analytic requests. The role also involves documenting processes, supporting compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization or BI tools, basic database querying).
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, claims data, payer contracts, or revenue cycle processes is highly beneficial.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to validate and reconcile data from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and clinical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in ambulatory surgery centers, hospital operations, or managed care analytics is a plus.
