Our client is an international bank in Zurich. We are searching for a compliance specialist (m, f, d) as Manager Compliance Projects Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of compliance-related projects and strategic initiatives across the entire organisation (e.g. CRD, DSGVO, AMLA, KYC, PEP, CDB 20, MiFID II ) / Coordinating between the Compliance, Legal, Production, IT and other relevant departments to ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time, to the agreed scope and in accordance with regulatory, accreditation and internal company requirements / Supporting the development of pragmatic and sustainable approaches to translating regulatory and business requirements into practical technological solutions / Coordinating cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful implementation of compliance initiatives / Monitoring project progress and proactively identifying risks, obstacles and resource bottlenecks / Facilitating project meetings, status reports and communication with stakeholders / Responsible for maintaining project governance, tracking milestones, managing risks and dependencies, fostering communication with stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the bank’s compliance programme in the long term / Ensuring that project documentation is kept up to date and maintained. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT or Engineering / Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar a must / Solid project management experience of supporting compliance or regulatory functions at an international bank, a Big4, or consultancy firm and familiarity with its processes required / Experience with governance, risk, and compliance and project management platforms preferred / Proficient in using Microsoft Project, JIRA or similar tools / Experience leading cross departmental projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, dependencies, and organizational objectives required / Strong analytical, project planning, organization, and execution skills / Team-oriented approach, with strong interpersonal skills and a keen interest in working regularly with colleagues, managers, suppliers and representatives of the regulatory authorities / Knowledge of project management methods, as well as agile approaches and best practices / Ability to manage various projects and competing priorities simultaneously / Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with a natural ability to influence stakeholders / German and also English.
