What You’ll Get to Do Echo Power is seeking a senior construction leader to lead a team of Construction Managers delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects across healthcare and industrial environments. As the next level of leadership within the Construction Management career path, this role combines people leadership, deep technical expertise, and oversight of multiple concurrent projects and priorities. You will set direction for the team, balance workloads and resources, remove obstacles, and serve as a senior technical resource when complex field conditions or project issues arise. Working closely with Engineers, Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders, you will keep construction moving, support consistent execution of construction efforts, and develop the capabilities of construction leaders. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support Construction Managers, establishing clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and building team cohesiveness. Direct construction execution across a portfolio of concurrent projects, aligning priorities, staffing, travel, and resources to maintain project momentum and team alignment. Monitor project and team workloads, anticipate competing demands or delivery risks, and adjust assignments and priorities before they disrupt construction activities. Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the Construction Management team, helping team members evaluate complex field conditions, interpret requirements, and develop practical solutions. Mentor team members in electrical and mechanical systems, construction methods, critical infrastructure requirements, troubleshooting, commissioning, and sound field decision-making. Promote consistent execution across projects by establishing and reinforcing expectations for safety, quality, schedule, budget, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Guide teams through high-risk activities, including Method of Procedures (MOPs), cutovers, shutdowns, commissioning, turnover, and client handoff. Partner with Engineering, Project Management, clients, subcontractors, and site stakeholders to resolve issues, coordinate decisions, and protect project commitments. Support scope reviews, subcontractor coordination, constructability reviews, and transition from preconstruction into field execution. What You Bring Deep technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, construction methods, and mission-critical or complex infrastructure environments Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing Construction Managers, senior field leaders, or comparable construction professionals Ability to translate technical expertise into clear guidance, mentoring, and practical problem-solving support for team members Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, resources, and changing business needs Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across field teams, subcontractors, Engineering, Project Management, and senior leadership Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project; experience with CMiC preferred Ability to travel and maintain significant onsite presence (70–80%) Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred 10+ years of progressive construction experience Experience in healthcare or critical infrastructure projects preferred NICET, PMP, OSHA 30, or similar certifications preferred Compensation & Benefits Salary: $126,660 – $168,724 annually (based on education and experience) Annual bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunity Work-from-home flexibility (when not in the field) Flexible working hours Four weeks’ vacation plus 7 company-paid holidays Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance Company wellness program, including access to personal health coach Company-paid benefits: Telemedicine, disability insurance, life insurance 401(k) plan with company match Family-oriented culture Career growth opportunities
