Is this job info correct?

Zarminali Pediatrics is building the nation's leading pediatric multispecialty group, focused on supporting families to shape healthy futures for their children – from birth through adulthood – by completely transforming the way pediatric care is delivered nationwide. We are tackling today's challenges of increased administrative burden on clinicians and a siloed approach to pediatric care through intentional design of care delivery, enhanced by leading technology and collaborative, expert care teams. Our name, inspired by our founder's daughter's name – Zarmina – means “something that is more precious to you than gold”. We couldn’t think of anything that better represents the way parents and caregivers hold the relationship with their children as the most valuable gift, and how we at Zarminali approach care for each child with equal reverence. We strive for a healthier future for pediatric patients and a happier future for pediatric clinicians nationwide, and we are looking for people to join us in achieving this vision. If you are eager to join a growth stage company and be part of the early team that is shaping the foundation of both the company and the delivery of pediatric care, then this opportunity might be for you! The Corporate Development Manager will drive the Zarminali pediatric practice acquisition strategy, partnering directly with the Corporate Development team and senior leadership to identify, evaluate, structure, and execute M&A opportunities aligned with long-term strategic objectives. This individual will manage the full deal lifecycle – from market strategy and sourcing through financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and handoff to integration – and will regularly present pipeline strategy, deal recommendations, and performance results to executive leadership. The role demands a strategic, analytical leader with strong financial modeling expertise, deal execution experience, and the judgment to manage complex relationships with physician practice owners. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Owning the pediatric practice acquisition strategy for assigned target markets, setting outreach priorities, pipeline targets, and go-to-market approach in partnership with senior leadership. Responsibility for outreach campaigns, including identification, research, cold calling, emailing, and relationship management with practice owners for acquisition. CRM management and reporting, presenting pipeline performance, market trends, and outreach outcomes to senior leadership on a regular cadence. Leading cross-functional deal execution – including financial analysis, valuation modeling, negotiation strategy, and data collection – in close partnership with Finance, Legal, and Integration teams from initial outreach through letter of intent and definitive agreement. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus. 3+ years of professional experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or a related field, ideally with a focus on healthcare. Demonstrated experience sourcing, structuring, and closing acquisitions, ideally of healthcare private practices or physician-owned businesses, including direct engagement with executive-level and physician-owner stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset, proactively building pipelines, generating new opportunities, and driving deals forward with minimal oversight. Results-oriented with a high level of personal accountability, taking ownership of outcomes and doing what it takes to identify and cultivate quality acquisition opportunities rather than relying on activity metrics alone. Proficiency with project management and CRM technology. Proven ability to build relationships with, and present confidently to, senior and executive leadership,. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear deal recommendations. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for developing and managing relationships with physician practice owners, internal team members, and the associates/analysts they oversee. Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deal processes. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and with a sense of humor. Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, and managing rapid change and shifting priorities. WHAT WE OFFER: Be a part of a team-based environment focused on providing high-quality pediatric care within a mission driven organization. Access to continuous learning, skill development, and career advancement within a supportive and dynamic culture. Competitive compensation package with paid time off, medical/dental/vision benefits, and more. Benefit from the flexibility of a remote work environment, with opportunities to travel and build meaningful relationships with teams across our expanding organization. At Zarminali Pediatrics, we are committed to our empowering clinicians and team members to deliver better pediatric care, altogether. This commitment requires building an inclusive culture and a team that represents the diverse communities we serve. We believe that when people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives come together, we create a stronger team and better care for our patients and their families. We realize the importance of an environment where clinicians and team members feel cared for, supported, and valued. We believe in the basics: treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, race, color, sex, gender, age, religion or religious creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We recruit and hire based on skills, talent, and potential, ensuring everyone has a fair chance to succeed. Together, we strive to build an inclusive and welcoming space where we can achieve our goal of building a happier future for the pediatric workforce.
