Position Overview The Manager, Critical Systems is responsible for the administration, reliability, governance, and continuous improvement of Fleet’s critical operational systems, including DCIM, BMS, EPMS, SCADA interfaces, CMMS, and related operational platforms. This leader ensures these systems are accurate, available, well-controlled, and useful to the field. This role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, data quality, and systems governance. The Manager will build disciplined processes for access control, data standards, integrations, release management, and operational support while partnering closely with site teams and engineering stakeholders. Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas: Safety, security, and availability are the most important things we do. Help Fleet deliver near-perfect execution on these dimensions by ensuring Fleet’s operational systems are reliable, governed, and fit for purpose. Lead day-to-day administration and support of Fleet’s critical operations platforms, including DCIM/BMS/EPMS/SCADA, CMMS, and ticketing-related workflows. Serve as the operational technology platform owner for Fleet’s critical facilities ecosystem, ensuring monitoring, telemetry, integrations, data quality, and governance scale with the company’s growth. Establish and maintain standards for asset data, naming conventions, equipment hierarchy, alarm taxonomy, work order structure, and reporting consistency. Own role-based access control, auditability, change control, and system configuration discipline for operational tools. Manage upgrades, patches, enhancements, testing, training, and user communications to minimize disruption and maximize adoption. Partner with Operations, Facilities Engineering, IT, Security, and vendors to prioritize system improvements and resolve issues. Drive integrations and automation across systems, including alarm-to-ticket workflows, asset data synchronization, reporting automation, and operational dashboards. Ensure new sites and expansions are onboarded into Fleet’s critical systems with complete and accurate data, alarming, workflows, and support documentation. Track tool health, system uptime, data quality, and user adoption KPIs; identify systemic gaps and build improvement plans. Support audits, incident investigations, and compliance needs by ensuring system records, logs, and evidence are retained and accessible. Education & Experience 7+ years of experience managing operational systems in data centers, industrial facilities, utilities, or similar mission-critical environments. Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following: DCIM, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, CMMS, or ITSM platforms. Strong discipline in system administration, data governance, change control, and user support. Working knowledge of critical facilities operations and how telemetry, alarms, and work management support uptime. Experience implementing integrations, workflow automation, or operational reporting solutions. Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, IT, vendors, and security teams. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel to Fleet sites as needed.
