As the Manager, Human Resources Implementations you will be responsible for supporting and executing HR workstreams throughout the full customer lifecycle, from new business pursuit and solution development through implementation, go-live, and operational stabilization. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to develop workforce strategies, labor market recommendations, hiring plans, onboarding approaches, compliance requirements, and implementation plans that support successful customer pursuits and operational startups. The Manager maintains ownership of assigned projects throughout the solutioning and implementation lifecycle, ensuring continuity, accountability, and workforce readiness from RFI/RFP through site stabilization. What you'll do on a typical day: Support HR solutioning activities for potential new business opportunities from RFI/RFP through award, including workforce planning, labor market input, wage and shift differential recommendations, HR operational assumptions, and implementation readiness planning. Represent HR in pursuit kickoff meetings, solution development sessions, proposal planning discussions, project workstream meetings, and customer presentation preparation when HR components are in scope. Review pursuit and proposal documentation to identify HR-related requirements, missing information, workforce assumptions, labor risks, and implementation considerations needed to support a complete customer response. Partner with Business Development, Solutions Engineering, Pricing, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Compliance, Legal/Employee Relations, CWMO, IT, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to develop integrated workforce solutions. Support labor market and workforce analysis by coordinating or using wage survey data, staffing partner labor analysis, HRBP feedback, hiring insights, local market trends, and other available inputs to inform workforce recommendations. Support development of workforce ramp strategies, hiring plans, onboarding approaches, HR support needs, travel considerations, training requirements, and startup readiness plans for new business pursuits, site launches, takeovers, renewals, and operational expansions. Maintain continuity of project ownership from solutioning through implementation, go-live, and site stabilization, ensuring workforce plans, key assumptions, risks, and customer commitments remain aligned throughout the lifecycle. Lead end-to-end execution of HR implementation plans for assigned programs, ensuring readiness across hiring, onboarding, policies, compliance, workforce deployment, HR operations, and field HR support aligned to go-live timelines. Provide HR related solutioning and implementation status updates, identify risks, escalate issues, and support resolution to ensure alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, proposal commitments, and operational requirements. Ensure HR solutioning and implementation activities comply with company policies, employment regulations, customer requirements, internal processes, and applicable approval requirements. Support change management activities that enable employees, field HR teams, and operational leaders to transition successfully to new processes, systems, customers, and work environments. Monitor workforce readiness and implementation performance through key metrics and identify opportunities to improve solution quality, execution effectiveness, and operational stabilization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation outcomes and scalable HR solutions. What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of combined experience in program management, project management, HR implementations, workforce planning, HR solution development, or related operational roles. Experience supporting new business pursuits, RFI/RFP activities, operational startups, workforce ramp planning, or labor market assessment activities preferred. Experience working in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or high-volume operational environments preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and partner with cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working in execution-focused, fast-paced environments with tight timelines and evolving requirements. Knowledge of HR processes including talent acquisition, onboarding, workforce planning, compliance, compensation inputs, and HR operations It'd be great if you also have: PMP or equivalent project/program management certification. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certifications. Experience supporting workforce readiness initiatives for site launches, operational expansions, renewals, takeovers, or new business implementations. Experience contributing to proposal responses, customer presentations, labor market reviews, wage recommendations, workforce solutioning, or startup planning.
