Job Summary
The Manager, Insights Report Generation and Management leads the development, governance, and delivery of clinical, operational, supply chain, and contracting analytics that drive enterprise decision-making across Category Management, Clinical Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Digital & Advisory, and Value Analysis functions. This role combines clinical expertise, healthcare analytics, category management knowledge, business intelligence, and operational excellence methodologies to identify opportunities for product standardization, utilization optimization, contract performance improvement, and cost reduction while supporting positive patient outcomes and operational effectiveness. The position serves as a strategic leader for reporting governance, data management, process standardization, knowledge management, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and support enterprise-wide performance improvement.
Essential Functions:
Analytics Delivery
- Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of enterprise reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics solutions supporting Category Management, Clinical Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Value Analysis, and Supply Chain operations.
Utilization & Performance Analysis
- Analyze clinical utilization, physician practice patterns, market share, spend, contract compliance, supply chain performance, and operational data to identify opportunities for product standardization, cost savings, utilization optimization, and improved patient outcomes.
Category Strategy Support
- Develop category-specific fact packs, market basket analyses, benchmarking assessments, market intelligence reports, and strategic insights that support category strategies, sourcing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Ad Hoc Business Intelligence
- Perform ad hoc analyses and generate actionable insights supporting new product requests, value analysis initiatives, sourcing events, contract negotiations, product conversions, utilization reviews, and clinical transformation initiatives.
Reporting Governance & Technical Ownership
- Serve as the technical owner for enterprise reporting platforms, data validation tools, dashboards, and reporting governance processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
Product Validation & Continuity Planning
- Lead clinical product validation, functional equivalency assessments, item cross-referencing, market basket development, and supply disruption mitigation activities that support contract implementation, continuity of care, and product standardization efforts.
Process Standardization & Operational Excellence
- Design, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance standards, reporting workflows, escalation processes, and standard work methodologies that improve operational consistency, efficiency, accountability, and scalability.
Knowledge Management & Training
- Develop and maintain enterprise knowledge management resources, onboarding programs, training materials, knowledge base articles, and educational initiatives that improve workforce readiness, increase tool adoption, accelerate onboarding, and preserve institutional knowledge.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Partnership
- Partner with Category Management, Clinical Transformation, Digital & Advisory, Infection Prevention, Wound Care, Finance, Sourcing, Supply Chain Operations, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and strategic solutions.
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of standardized work practices across Category Management and Digital & Advisory teams to enhance productivity, collaboration, service delivery, and organizational effectiveness.
Market Intelligence Management
- Manage external benchmarking, market intelligence, and functional equivalency resources, including relationships with organizations such as ECRI, to support evidence-based decision-making and category strategy development.
Digital Product Strategy & Requirements Management
- Help with the identification, definition, prioritization, and documentation of product requirements, features, and enhancements for digital applications, dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to develop roadmaps, user personas, user stories, and acceptance criteria while coordinating testing, validation, and feedback activities to ensure solutions address business needs, improve user adoption, and deliver measurable organizational value.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field (Preferred)
Licensing & Certifications:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – National Association for Healthcare Quality (Preferred)
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) – Association for Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (Preferred)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher - Accredited Lean Six Sigma Certification Body (Preferred)
Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) (Preferred)
Experience:
Three (3) years of direct healthcare experience in a manner which required usage, handling, and/or ordering medical supplies and equipment such as operating room (OR), bedside patient care, or supply chain (Required).
Five (5) years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, clinical informatics, healthcare supply chain analytics, category management, value analysis, healthcare operations, or related healthcare environment (Required).
Three (3) years of experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical solutions (Required).
Three (3) years of experience supporting healthcare supply chain, sourcing, contracting, category management, clinical transformation, or operational performance improvement initiatives (Required).
Experience working with healthcare data sources, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and business intelligence platforms (Required).
Experience translating complex analytical findings into operational and strategic recommendations (Required).
One (1) year of project leadership, people leadership, or cross-functional leadership experience (Preferred).
Experience leading process improvement, governance, standardization, or operational excellence initiatives (Preferred).
Experience supporting healthcare category management programs or strategic sourcing organizations (Preferred).
Experience utilizing healthcare benchmarking, market intelligence, clinical evidence, and functional equivalency resources (Preferred).
Experience working with product standardization, utilization management, or value analysis initiatives (Preferred).
