We partner with physicians and health systems to deliver high quality care, aligning synergies and best practices to achieve superior outcomes. As a leader in the industry, we believe in developing a foundation of trust, transparency, and excellence in everything we do. The success of our company has created excellent career advancement opportunities that support a healthy work/life balance. Position Summary Manage and coordinate temporary staffing needs primarily through locum tenens provider needs across NPH’s anesthesia divisions, serving as the primary liaison between locum agencies and internal teams to ensure seamless gap coverage while driving organizational staffing strategies, cost containment being top priority. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for locum tenens agencies, managing all communication and coordination related to gap coverage needs across NPH’s anesthesia divisions. Drive temporary staffing strategies such as overall rate reductions, faster schedule commitments, flexibility to modify arrangements and stimulating buyouts where advantageous. Coordinate the handoff of locum providers between agency bookings, ensuring continuity of coverage when individual locums can only commit to partial periods. Facilitate the onboarding process for locum providers, including working with NPH recruiters to ensure all required applications, licensure, credentialing, and enrollment materials are submitted accurately and on time. Assist credentialing and enrollment teams in chasing down outstanding documentation from locum providers or their agencies to prevent delays in billing eligibility. Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple locum tenens agencies to ensure NPH has access to a robust pipeline of qualified anesthesia providers. Coordinate with facility administration and on-site contacts to facilitate smooth locum provider arrivals, orientation, and scheduling integration.
